- First Phase will held on October 12, 49 constituencies across 10 Districts like Samstipur, Begusarai, Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Lakhisarai, Shekhpura Nawada & Jamui.
- Second Phase will held on October 16, 32 constituencies in 6 districts like Rohtas, Jahanabaad, Kaimur, Arval, Aurangabad & Gaya.
-Third Phase will held on October 28, 50 constituencies in 6 districts like Saran, Vaishali, Nalanda, Patna, Bhojpur & Buxer.
- Fourth Phase will held on November 01, 55 constituencies in 7 districts like Paschmi & Purvi Champaran, Devghar, Shivhar, Muzaffarpur, Siwan & Gopalganj.
- Fifth Phase will held on November 05, 57 constituencies in 9 districts like Madhubani, Supaul, Purnia, Katihar, Araria, KishanGanj, Madhepura, Saharsa & Darbhanga.
This time, EC has ensured that Central Armed Police Force (CAPE), personnel are deployed in all the 62779 polling stations of State.
Counting of votes for all phases to be done on November 8. Most left - wing extremism hit areas to go for polls in first two phases.
Election Commission to deploy 243 general Observers, 38 Police Observes and 80 paid observers during polls.
Model Code of conduct to be enforced with immediate effect.
